POTF – Clearview through the looking glass
Alright, I have not said my last word about Clearview, nope I am not done… There are some afterthoughts and inspiration that need to be addressed so that, for now, I know I really said everything I wanted to say and did not limit myself to this one post for custom’s sake. You see, a lot can happen in a couple of days, even though it might not look that way for many, for me it is a lot and it did. I had my first written feedback on what I wrote about Poets of the Fall, and beyond the fact that it made my day, I got inspired which kind of is the whole…
POTF – Once Upon a Playground Rainy
I usually don’t do this, mainly because it never happened before… but I am writing this post for one visitor, from USA or Belarus, who was (according to Misfit at Heart‘s statistics) looking for the meaning of Poets of the Fall‘s song Once Upon a Playground Rainy. I don’t know, however, if my input will help him/her, but I’ll surely try… Besides, that is a very cool song, it just took me a week to remember the title and saying it without stammering, and I wish I could ask the band: “Hi gents! Who on Earth is Tony?“, well… I guess I just did. For the little story behind the question: a few years…
Poets of the Fall – Moonlight Kissed – Clearview
It has been a long time since I wrote a post first in my mother tongue instead of starting it in English. I do not know why, but the idea came from Poets of the Fall themselves. If someone can explain, then please be my guest. After spending a whole morning on writing a draft of this post – which wasn’t one to begin with, I realised two things despite myself. First, I was utterly dissatisfied with the result, therefore – and as you can notice yourselves – I am starting over. Second, I did not chose the easiest song from Clearview to interpret. I set the bar a little high, but…
Poets of the Fall – Clearview
[There is an update on this post, further down. It is marked #Update – Marko at his best] Yesterday was a very special day, September 30th 2016 was Clearview‘s release day and the end of a long wait for both the fans and Poets of the Fall. Of course, in my family of two, where love rules over all else, we kept to our tradition of discovering new music together (without listening before the other). This made the whole experience extra special, however, I can tell you right now that we will drop that particular tradition in the future when it comes to Poets of the Fall. Anyway, I had decided from the…
Drama for Life – new potf official video
Alright, I cannot let it be, I’ve gotta write something about this otherwise… well, better not say. Before I start, though, if you are wondering what I get out of writing so much about Poets of the Fall, I’ll tell you this: it is hell of a kick, a surge of happiness and joy which I cannot keep for myself so I share it as much as possible to prevent an uncontrollable burst of enthusiasm. I have to protect my loved ones somehow… This being said, let’s go to the matter at hand. Poets of the Fall are well-known for the music genre they are playing – at least among the…

Poets of the Fall – A splendid toolbox
Healing is a long process especially when one has what many call an “invisible illness” such as a “burn-out” (or the better term: exhaustion syndrome disorder).Today, however, I am very proud to say that I have taken yet another giant step towards recovery. There is obviously no finish line but rather a clearer path and vision of where I want to go and who I am. This post is as much about Poets of the Fall as it is about me, yours truly. You see, it doesn’t matter the tools you are using to be healthy again, as long as they work; in my case, Poets of the Fall are…
