POTF – Everything Fades… inspired future
For the faithful, this is not the repetition of my post from December 11th but rather a sequel. The same phrases have struck me not later than yesterday evening and as I am in a strange state of mind today, I had to do something about these two complementing and compelling events – if I may call them that. It is true that most often than not, we all want what we do not have, or think that the grass is greener on the other side of the road… in my case, it is not so. My dreams keep me going, the love my husband and I have for each…
POTF – Everything Fades… inspiration
I thought today would be a writing-free day since I posted something “kinda” new yesterday, however, it would seem that my fingers are itchy for typing… what, you might ask? hmm, anything I suppose. I could of course translate the posts that need translating in French, but let’s not get carried away… it’s still Sunday after all. Now, yesterday afternoon I wrote something in my notebook that reads: next post Crystalline. Lovely! But not today, no. Today, I might as well just go back in time as a little experiment, for which evidently I won’t tell the purpose. Before I go on though, there is something I have been wondering about…
Poets of the Fall – Illusion & Dream
Right, the countdown has started and the 7th album (or 8th if you include the best of, Alchemy Vol.1) Clearview is done and soon ready to be dispatched all over the world (I think). D-4 (and counting down), depending on how you are actually counting… anyway, as I wrote on the band’s FB page, I have never been longing so much for an album to be released… and I am a newbie, I just got acquainted (March 2016) to Poets of the Fall… this is crazy, but so fun, you have no idea! But today, I’d like to talk about a song that gets me every time, tears, goose bumps and…

Poets of the Fall – A splendid toolbox
Healing is a long process especially when one has what many call an “invisible illness” such as a “burn-out” (or the better term: exhaustion syndrome disorder).Today, however, I am very proud to say that I have taken yet another giant step towards recovery. There is obviously no finish line but rather a clearer path and vision of where I want to go and who I am. This post is as much about Poets of the Fall as it is about me, yours truly. You see, it doesn’t matter the tools you are using to be healthy again, as long as they work; in my case, Poets of the Fall are…

Poets of the Fall Effect – A journey into inspiration & creativity
Come and tag along while I write a poem coming directly from the heart of music… and elsewhere. Inspiration & creativity should not have to wait. There is this thing I do when I like something so much that I want everybody to feel the same… although, I am well aware that it’s not how it works… Anyway, being aware is good because it prevents me from jumping with both my feet in the puddle of mud hidden under the carpet. Weird imagery, I know but that’s the one that popped out – probably due to the freaking weather hiding the sun away. Anyway, here they come again, Poets of…
Poets of the Fall – Songs of the day
Poets of the Fall is one of my deepest and strongest source of inspiration so today, Choice Millionaire and Love Will Come to You are my happy corner songs. BTW, this is another very enthusiastic post about Poets of the Fall's music. You've been warned! I have recently discovered how happy two songs from my favourite poets make me. It does not mean that the rest of their repertoire is un-moving me, far from it; it just means that these are two songs which actually lift my spirit in such a way that I could literally fly. The lucky winners are coming from the band’s latest album Jealous Gods – latest…
