New Series – Poets of the Fall, Clearview simply said – 6th episode
Expecting a summary… sorry… just a very long intro ? “If you know you don’t know something, how do you get a clear view? It’s by asking.” – Marko Saaresto I think that I got a bit sidetracked with the previous episode – Children of the Sun – or at the very least I was not as clear in my train of thought as I was in the previous episodes. I will try and fix that… not sure it’ll work though. ? I realise that there was a lot of “have to” and “should this or that”… so much for my initial resolution of NOT doing precisely that. Oh well, no one is perfect…

Let’s break the mould… I have a confession to make. I am a stats freak. Well not so much of an expert, but at the very least here, on Misfit at Heart, I am very interested in seeing where you guys are coming from and what posts are most popular. This is how I have noticed that some of you have been doing some “catch up reading” while waiting for the next episode (hmm, the latter part is me assuming, of course.) So to make sure you don’t get bored… I’m changing the writing structure of the series now and then. Anyway, let’s get down to it, shall we! Expecting…

Before hitting the speed-writing button… … to keep up with my thoughts, I’d like to say something to you visitor(s) – regular or occasional. I have noticed that the first episode was very popular at once – ? yeah! – but then the others got the cold shoulder so to speak. I know I write long blog posts because I: […] do not say anything in it, unless it is worth taking a long time to say, and to listen to. ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Two Towers, Treebeard. Therefore, I asked myself why… and came up with two answers: Either, you guys are bored with the subject and chose not to read the…

Nearly a year with Poets of the Fall
Warning: this is a VERY long post, so get a cup of tea or coffee, get comfy and happy reading! Ruthless year I could not let my latest post be the last one of the year… it did not feel right because I did not really talk about the year that passed, what it brought me and what’s to come. You’d think after such a statement I’d made my case and would start… well, guess again! We can all agree that 2016 was a real dark year, with the terror that pushed entire families to go into exile; the terror again hitting cities like Nice and Berlin and all the others that I will…
Poets of the Fall – The Child in Me
Last week, I promised I’d come with a new post about Poets of the Fall‘s song The Child in Me. What I have been wondering since is if it is another coming of age song like Once Upon a Playground Rainy. It would seem that the song title is rather self-explanatory which means not too much digging, at least at first glance. But, it is somewhat a Smoke and Mirrors meet Rewind kind of feeling – lyric-wise. Anyway, go figure why this particular track made me happy as I drove home last week… the lyrics are not particularly cheerful so why? I think that it might have something to do with, first and foremost, the intro……
