The first time I saw Poets of the Fall (Helsinki, April 2018) my husband called our “fan gathering”: Nerdmoot. It stuck… in case you were wondering. Show time – The Circus, 12/04/2019 I arrived to the venue slightly later than planned, but already some people were already standing in line, that included Laura. I had met her in Germany before and to my surprise, she recognised me. Ana arrived not long after me, and we fell in each other’s arms. I was so happy to see her and as my husband would call it, there is true chemistry between us, which makes our friendship rather strong and steady. September 2018… this is when I planned this whole trip, so believe me when I say that the anticipation for the shows, first in Stockholm and then in Paris, have had time to build up. Hungover The flight from Sweden to Hamburg on October 26th was slightly delayed, but the pilot was good and we landed only 10 minutes behind schedule. Anticipation… I like the word because it is loaded with so much positivism. I mean, whatever the event coming our way, we want it with all our heart and get the nauseous feeling that we’d loose our minds if it got delayed. Do you know what I mean? With this idea in mind, imagine yours truly and her nerdy friends all over the world refreshing whichever official streaming platform (in my case, my mailbox to get iTunes notification… way too early I must add).
