Poets of the Fall – Echoes of the Carnival – 20 Years, Carnival of Rust
Carnival of Rust is to me what Late Goodbye is to the majority of Poets of the Fall‘s fans: an absolute and undeniable classic. My eyes discovered the incredible creativity of the band before my ears could understand what they were listening to. Since then, I never looked back, despite the doubts and mood swings throwing unapologetic punches at my heart through the years. Carnival of Rust is the song that started it all for me, or rather rekindled a flame I did not know was burning out and, I could never express well enough how grateful I am to Poets of the Fall. Echoes of the Carnival Oddly enough,…
Poets of the Fall – Circus Revisited – 12/04/2019
Show time – The Circus, 12/04/2019 I arrived to the venue slightly later than planned, but already some people were already standing in line, that included Laura. I had met her in Germany before and to my surprise, she recognised me. Ana arrived not long after me, and we fell in each other’s arms. I was so happy to see her and as my husband would call it, there is true chemistry between us, which makes our friendship rather strong and steady. We laughed a lot at ourselves because it was 16:30 and the doors were to open at 19:00 for VIP’s. I mean who does that? We do, obviously……
Helsinki, Poets of the Fall, my first Poets show ever
Ever since I’ve got hooked to Poets of the Fall, I have written many pieces inspired by the band’s music and inevitably got noticed by a couple of die hard fans. It all started with Susan though… with a friendship that is still young yet steadily growing into a beautiful flower. The truth of the matter is that I have been as much looking forward to meeting Susan for the first time as I have been to see the band live. I’d also said “see you soon” to Kirsi H. the week preceding the show, because she was coming too… it was about to get crowded with loads of friends……

Poets of the Fall, Clearview simply said – Bonus 10.5
Today is a special day because today I have a special guest. Her name is Susan B. (Tobyanca) and I believe some of you already had the good fortune of meeting her. “Poets of the Fall nerds”, that is what my husband calls us – Susan and I. So let’s not disappoint, right.? Since we are two very chatty writers, do get comfortable my friends, this post is the longest one yet… so, get a cup of tea or something ☕? Miika Hakala Have you ever heard of Finnish filmmaker Miika Hakala?… Hmmm, nope… never. Surprising?… Nah, probably not either… Surprised? Absolutely, greatly and happily… Of course, I am talking about…
Poets of the Fall – Quote from Desire
On my way to work, I was playing music – read Poets of the Fall here – really loud (or at least loud enough so I could still hear the engine) and as the playlist went on, suddenly these words hit me yet again – I’ve had had previous cases of over-thoughts bugging me with the same words: What never moves, is never still Now, I don’t about you, but this phrase kind of occupied my neurones for a while… until I caught the twist if one can call that a twist (it wouldn’t be if your mother tongue was English, of course, since it is not mine here you go!) Anyway,…
